Sheffield Court Apartments

I've been living in these apartments for two years. Honestly, I'm very happy with everything. The staff is very friendly, and if we have any issues, maintenance comes quickly, even on weekends. The pool is beautiful, and the gym is spacious, so there's no need to pay for an external one. Unfortunately, the buildings are quite old, so they occasionally interrupt water for pipe repairs. I'm grateful they inform us well in advance so we can prepare, but it wouldn't be a reason not to live here. The location is perfect, and the price is affordable.

Sheffield has been a great place to live! My apartment is one of the newer models with updated appliances in the kitchen, updated bathroom tiles and newly renovated floors. The walls are pretty thick so you won't hear your neighbors. The amenities are really great and very hard to find in Arlington, especially for the price point. Dog park, pool and new gym are all included. The staff are amazing and really do their best to make you feel at home. The back office is also great and will really work with you to make sure your needs are heard and that your stay in the community is satisfactory! I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to live in the Arlington area!

I am so happy I moved to Sheffield Court Apartments. I love the location and amenities. The staff is so wonderful. Shayla Walker in the leasing office was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding. She answered all my emails in a timely fashion and really put me at ease. Cal got me all checked in on moving day and he made me laugh and smile so much. I am so happy and thankful to live here. I have been living here since 2019 and currently am transferring to a newly renovated apartment also at Sheffield Court. I just wanted to share my experience to help others make their decisions, as apartment hunting in this area can be daunting. There are many reasons that made me want to stay at Sheffield Court, but one of the main reasons is that the people have been amazing. The general manager, Charlotte, has helped me since day one, from promptly answering all my questions and concerns, to providing assistance on matters she really didn't have to bother with, but still did. Communications have always been clear and transparent, which I value greatly. The office staff, Shayla, Cal, and all the others have always been courteous and quick in helping me every time I visit the office, great folks... I also cannot say enough for the maintenance and cleaning staff, such hard working and kind people that are always very helpful! The location is really hard to beat for those working in DC, about a ~10-15min walk to two metros. There are also many grocery stores, along with plenty of places to eat out within walkable distance. You can definitely manage without a car as I have done for the last 5 years. They also have a nice renovated workout facility and workspaces if you need to use it to work from home. The pool is very nice as well and definitely a big hit during the summer. Overall, I'm glad I stumbled onto this location and would definitely recommend it to those with similar needs!

Update: the community’s response to this is deceitful. I had contacted Arlington County PD before Sheffield Court had reached out to me. Though I appreciate their efforts to try to claim any level of concern here. When they did call me they recommended paying double the parking price for an off campus garage access. I guess paying for their parking spaces as is wasn’t enough. I don’t appreciate that there is actual meaningful action the community could take here by listening to multiple reviews and actually installing security cameras to their lots. People should not have to worry about paying for parking and then still having their car destroyed or their tires stolen. Do better. Original Review: Have been here exactly one week and have already had the back of my car destroyed in the parking lot. Saw other reviews that mentioned this and in each of them they say nothing is done to help the owner. Sadly this is true. No cameras, no help offered, even after this is clearly a common occurrence. Good to know the community doesn’t mind their members destroying one another’s property. Glad I only signed a short term lease
